This article steps you through installing an OTA update to a device from a customer URL in EloView.

These steps assume you have received a custom OTA URL from Elo Support and that your device is connected to your EloView 4 account.

Steps

1. Go to Device Details and select the Software tab.

2. Under OS Update, click the gear icon.

3. ✅ Check Enable Custom URL Path. (1)

4. Paste the custom URL into the URL path field. (2)

5. Click Confirm. (3)

6. ⚠️ When prompted with "Are you sure you want to apply the update to your device?", select Yes.

7. ℹ️ A confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen indicating the software update has been scheduled. The update will install automatically.
