Elo Android Gen 4 value product families are transitioning to next-generation Gen 5 platforms. Customers are encouraged to begin planning migration and replacement strategies as remaining Gen 4 inventory becomes limited.

Please be advised that the following Android Gen 4 value product families are being discontinued and replaced with upgraded Android Gen 5 models:

I-Series 4
I-Series 4 Slate
Backpack 4
EloPOS Z30

The new Android Gen 5 platforms feature significant performance and connectivity enhancements, including:

Qualcomm 6490 processor
Android 14 through Android 18 support roadmap
WiFi 6E connectivity

While Elo works to minimize product changes whenever possible, transitions are occasionally necessary to support newer technologies, improved performance, and extended platform longevity. In these situations, Elo strives to provide suitable replacement products with equal or improved specifications.

ℹ Inventory & Ordering Information

Remaining inventory will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Last Time Buy (LTB) orders will be accepted through September 1, 2026.
Last Time Ship (LTS) is scheduled to be completed by January 1, 2027.
Please check with your distribution partner(s) for current inventory availability.
Recommended replacement products may not be electrically or mechanically identical to discontinued models.
