Overview
To better support customers expanding into healthcare and other specialized medical environments, Elo is enhancing the 04L touchscreen monitor line (1004L, 1304L, and 1504L) with new compliance and configuration options.
Built with optical bonding for brilliant clarity and a durable IP54- and IK08-rated design, the 04L monitors now support IEC 60601-1 certification for use in medical environments.
Key Enhancements & Configuration Options
- Medical Compliance: IEC 60601-1 compliance can be achieved when the monitors are powered through Elo’s optional AC/DC adapter, integrated USB-C power delivery, or another compliant power source. This helps meet strict medical safety requirements while maintaining a consistent Elo display platform.
- New Aesthetic Options: To further support specialized deployments, the 04L series is now available in UV-resistant white through make-to-order configurations. This offers a clean, modern aesthetic suitable for hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and specialty retailers.
Samples and Production Timeline
Please note the following rollout schedule for the updated monitors:
- Current Stock: Existing stock of the 04L black and white models do not reflect the IEC 60601-1 certification on the safety labels, but they may be used as samples for customer testing and evaluation.
- August 2026: Safety-labeled IEC 60601-1 stock will enter circulation as a rolling change, with official samples becoming available.
- October 2026: Mass production for the newly labeled stock begins.
