To enable the integrated webcam on an Android I-series 3.0 device, please follow the procedure below:

Executive Summary
This process document explains requirements for enabling the integrated webcam on an I-Series 3.0 device that has been upgraded to MR-1 image (4.36.60) from MR-0 image (4.26.140). This procedure is applicable only to devices that did not ship with MR-1 or above from the factory. For devices that shipped with device version 4.36.60, this step has been completed at the factory and is not required.

I-Series 3.0 for Android™ with Google™ Play Services
 
Required Components
             I-Series 3.0 for Android™ with Google™ Play Services
             USB A-to-A cable
             Computer with fastboot installed (Windows/Mac/Linux)
                 
Affected EloView device versions
              4.36.60 (only if upgraded from 4.26.140)  

Procedure
1. Connect USB A-to-A cable between I-Series and Fastboot-equipped computer
 
2. Enter Fastboot mode by holding HOME key, connecting power to I-Series and releasing button when Android Recovery menu is visible
 
3. Select “Reboot to bootloader” (Fastboot mode will appear on-screen)
 
4. Type “fastboot devices” – serial number will appear
 
5. Type “fastboot oem oemcamera Qon”
 
6. Reboot device
 
7. Camera is now enabled
