This article provides some basic troubleshooting procedures for the Android I-Series
Please see the procedures below for basic troubleshooting of the Android I-Series.
Procedure
1. No Power – The Elo Android I-Series does not respond when turning on the system.
b. Check the power LED status.
i. If the power LED is solid white, then the system is ON.
ii. If the power LED is red, then the system is OFF.
iii. If the system stays in the OFF state, try the following steps:
2. In the case that the power button LED displays solid white light, there may be an issue with the display or LCD backlight.

3. How to Enter Android Home
b. When prompted for password enter: 1elo (Default)*
c. From the Home tab, tap 5 times anywhere in the white area until Android Home button appears
d. Tap Android Home
e. Select “Yes” on the prompt to exit EloView
f. The unit will reboot to the Android Desktop
g. To restore EloView, perform Backup & reset function from Android Settings, this will erase everything on the I-Series
* For EloView accounts created after December 2017, your control panel password is randomly assigned during the signup process. If you do not remember password, it can be obtained from your device’ setting tab on your EloView account.
* For Devices running EloView version 3.26.55 or later, you have the option of choosing between Factory data reset and Factory data reset (EloView).
Selecting Factory data reset will perform a full data wipe, but allow your device to remain in Android Home mode
Selecting Factory data reset will perform a full data wipe and restore your device to EloView mode
