This article explains what to do if the X Series Rev A intermittently locks up

See information below for steps to follow if facing an issue with an Elo X-Series Rev. A unit randomly "locking up."

1. Enter the BIOS by tapping the DEL key on a physically connected keyboard during startup, or by touching the SETUP icon in the upper right corner of the screen during startup. 

2. Navigate to Advanced and select PPM configuration:


 
3. Select CPU C state Report:


 
4. Change CPU C state Report from [Enabled] to [Disabled]:


 
5. Save Changes and Exit:
