This article addresses an issue where the monitor displays only red, green, and blue colors (Factory Test Pattern)

Issue: Your Elo monitor powers on but only flashes red, green, and blue with no video signal.

Cause: This behavior indicates the monitor is in Factory Test Pattern Mode.

Solution: Follow the steps below to exit the factory mode and return the monitor to normal operation:

Step 1: Access the Factory OSD Menu

1. Connect a VGA source to the monitor and power it on.
2. Enter Factory Mode:
   • Press and hold SELECT + POWER on the RJ45 OSD remote or physical buttons.
   • When the screen lights up, release the buttons.
   • Press MENU to open the menu with an “F” icon in the top-left corner.
   • Use the arrow keys to highlight the “F”, then press SELECT to enter the factory menu.

Step 2: Perform Factory Reset

1. Use the arrow buttons to highlight RESET in the factory menu.
2. Press SELECT to reset the monitor to factory settings.

Step 3: Exit Factory Mode

1. Exit the factory menu.
2. Power off the monitor.
3. Power on the monitor again.

Step 4: Recall Default Settings in Standard OSD

1. Press MENU to enter the standard OSD.
2. Navigate to Miscellaneous and press SELECT.
3. Choose Recall Defaults and exit the OSD.

Result:

The factory test pattern should now be cleared, and your monitor should function normally.
