This article explains why an “Out of Range” message may appear when connecting an Elo 1004LS monitor to an Elo 7-Inch POS Stand.
⚠️ Cause: The issue is caused by a resolution mismatch between the POS unit and the monitor.
According to the Elo Pay 7-inch Integrated Payment POS specifications , the system outputs a fixed 1920 × 1080 video signal.
The supported 10-inch companion monitor for this resolution is the Elo 1002L .
The Elo 1004LS does not support 1920 × 1080, which results in the “Out of Range” message.
