This article addresses how to enable or disable screen locks on Elo Android devices.

The only password Elo's Android devices have implemented on them from the factory is the EloView control panel password which is 1elo

Elo's Android systems do not ship with any screen locks enabled. If you are seeing a screen lock on your computer it has been implemented sometime after the product was purchased. Elo cannot provide passwords, patterns, or pins.

To enable or disable a screen lock on Elo Android devices, see steps below:

1. Enter Android Settings (gear icon)


2. Open Security screen lock



3. Open Screen lock


4. Choose desired lock method (in this example we are using the Pattern lock method)



5. Using your finger, draw a pattern of your choice



6. Choose Next



7. Draw the pattern again and select Confirm



8. Choose how you want the lock screen to display content while system is locked then choose Done



9. You will now have to draw the pattern to unlock the Android screen whenever system has been restarted or user logged out

Remove Pattern Lock

To remove the pattern lock you will need to go back into the Security settings, choose Screen lock, draw the pattern, then select None and choose YES, REMOVE when prompted - the pattern screen lock will now be disabled
