This article addresses the reason for having both AC and DC power options on some Elo monitors.

Some Elo monitors support being powered by an included AC power cable or with an optional DC power adapter as shown in the example below.



These monitors only include the AC power cable. Part numbers for applicable DC power adapters are available on the product page for each monitor.

Only one power source should be connected at a time to prevent damage to the monitor.
