Where can I find information about the discontinuance of PayPoint for iPad products?

PMB: 728, Transition Notice: PayPoint for iPad & PayPoint Plus for iPad Discontinued
October 15th, 2020

Please be advised that the PayPoint® for iPad and PayPoint Plus for iPad product lines are being discontinued but the PayPoint and PayPoint Plus for Android and Windows platforms will remain and offer great options to transition to. While this has been an innovative product for Elo and its customers, we have decided to discontinue this product line as Apple has moved towards streamlining USB-C as their interface of choice for new iPad products.

The PayPoint for iPad SDK can be obtained from our Downloads Portal by clicking here. The latest version of our SDK supports up to iOS 15.

If you have any questions or need samples of PayPoint or PayPoint Plus (Android or Windows) for development, please contact your sales representative at Elo.



Last Time Buy & Last Time Ship
• Please note that remaining inventory will be available on a first come first served basis. We will work closely with existing customers to navigate this transition.
• Last time buy orders will be accepted through November 10th, 2020 with last time ship to be completed by December 31st, 2020.
• Please consult with your sales representative for specific part numbers and details.
• Recommended replacement part may not be electrically or mechanically identical to the discontinued product.
