This article addresses compatible cables for Android Debugging Bridge over USB on I-Series 4 devices.

Elo I-Series 4 devices utilize the USB-A port on the device for Android Debugging Bridge(ADB). The I-Series 4 device will need to be connected to a computer using a USB-A to USB-A cable. 

Cables explicitly labeled "Data Transfer Cables" will not work. While these cables are typically USB-A to USB-A, they have additional circuitry that allows two computers to communicate for the purpose of transferring data between them. The addition of this circuitry will prevent proper usage of Android development tools, including ADB and Android Studio.
