This article addresses an issue on Elo I-Series 3.0 devices continuing to enable the auto correct feature despite it being turned off in EloView.

Some customers may want to disable the Android Keyboard Auto Correct feature on their I-Series 3.0 device. Turning this feature off in the EloView Portal has no effect. You must disable Auto Correct on the device itself in Android Settings, see below for steps.

1. On the device, access the Control Panel by pressing the <>Home and <>Power buttons at the same time. If necessary, enter the password

• Default password is “1elo” unless you changed it in EloView

2. In the “Apps” area, click Settings (gear icon)



3. Scroll down and open System


4. Open Languages & input (Gboard)



5. Open Virtual keyboard



6. Open Android Keyboard (AOSP)



7. Open Text Correction



8. In the Auto-correction field, disable by sliding settings button left
