5553L, 6553L IDS Monitor RS232 Compatibility

RS-232 compatibility

• MDC commands will operate over 9600 baud rate.
• MDC commands will be available over the USB Bus (through the USB to serial convertor).
• MDC commands will be available through the 3.5mm TRS Serial RS232 port.

Requirements for MDC Tool:

• Power Status

*IDS might need to disable energy saving to achieve the power control behavior

• MDC Diagnostic commands will follow the latest released version of the Elo Device Management Remote Management Specification
• There will be ability to disable/enable all peripheral ports individually through OSD menu and DDC/CI and MDC commands.
