Why is my application running in immersive (full screen) mode?
Immersive mode, also known as full screen mode is the ability for an app to hide the Android status and navigation bars while within the application.
If the developer of the application has enabled the app to run in immersive mode, you will be forced to use the app in immersive mode. Immersive mode is often used on applications that require lots of swiping near the status or navigation bars, which helps to prevent accidently closing, or switching out of the application. While in immersive mode, the navigation bar will appear after swiping once near the the bottom of the screen, and you will be able to use the navigation bar as usual.
