Elo's Edge Connect peripherals connect via a Micro-USB connector. Some customers may want to test these on a standard USB port. For example: some programs require Windows to configure devices such as the 1st Generation 2D barcode scanners. If you are connected to an Android computer this is not possible; therefore, you would need to use a Micro USB to Standard USB adapter to connect the device to a Windows machine.
