Executive Summary
This technical bulletin describes the proper method of connecting peripherals to the micro-USB ports on the edges of Elo products.
Procedure (see related attached .pdf)
1. Remove the plastic covers from the peripheral ports by lifting upward at the thumb slot.
2. Observe the micro-USB port to ensure it is straight and not bent or recessed.
3. Carefully align the male micro-USB from the peripheral with the female micro-USB port on the edge of the monitor and gently push the peripheral into place.
4. Be certain not to mis-align the connection or it may cause the internal micro-USB connector to become bent or recessed making it unusable.
5. After peripheral is fully seated, use the two provided screws to secure it in place.
