This article describes limited touch detection on PCAP Monitor due to "Touch-Through" setting
If you have a PCAP monitor that is specified to have 10 or more touches but you are only getting 2 touches, check the OSD menu and see if Touch-Through has been enabled. This setting is default to OFF, however, if someone has enabled this setting it reduces the number of touches to only two.
On most of our desktop monitors with PCAP, there is an option in the OSD (on-screen display) menu that must be enabled to use the Touch Through feature. This feature is for customers that want to place a layer of glass on top of the screen or a privacy filter. See below for how to enable or disable this feature:
- Open the OSD menu by pressing the Menu button on the OSD remote
- Choose Miscellaneous
- Choose Touch
- Choose Touch Through
- Select Enable to enable the Touch Through feature.
- Select Disable to disable the Touch Through feature
