This article informs on the use of gloves with PCAP monitors
For PCAP technology, thin rubber type gloves work best; latex, vinyl, nitrile, polyethylene, etc.
- The gloves cannot be thicker than 6mm.*
- The gloves must have capacitance properties to work.
- Cloth, leather, or thick gloves will not work.
*If rubber gloves are thick (up to 6mm), the user may need to enable touch-through on the monitor for it to work well. The only limitations could be the number of touches on the screen at one time. For example, instead of having 10 touches, with gloves they may be reduced to 2 touches at one time. Please consult your monitor's User's Manual for how to enable "through-touch," in cases of thicker gloves.
