This article discusses possible issues with entering text into forms using the Virtual Keyboard on Android devices
Some customers have reported whenever they are filling out online forms using the virtual keyboard, the text fields will populate with different characters or text other than what they are trying to enter.
Example: When attempting to enter an email address in the email field: Support@elotouch.com, while entering the following words appear in the field elo touch systems of support @
This issue is happening because Text Correction is turned on in the virtual keyboard. To keep this from happening, simply turn off Text Correction in the Android Settings:
If using the standard Android Virtual Keyboard, go here: System -Languages & Input -Virtual Keyboard -Android Keyboard -Text Correction
If using the Google Virtual Keyboard, go here: System -Languages & Input -Virtual Keyboard -Gboard -Text Correction
