This article explains how to enable Keyboard Emulation Mode on the new E393160, 2D Barcode Scanner

The Elo Edge Connect 2D Barcode Scanner, P/N: E393160 default settings are:

• SNAPI Interface
• Presentation Mode
• Beep on Scan
• Set up to read the most common codes

Many customers wish to scan barcodes directly into an open field such as Notepad or a web form. To be able to do that you will need to program the 2D Barcode Scanner to read in USB Keyboard HID Mode. To do this, simply scan the below programing barcode. 


After scanning the above code, you will hear a series of audible beeps and the scanner light will blink, go off, and then light up again and is now ready to scan.
