Legacy Parallel Port History

The last Elo all-in-one system manufactured with an integrated native parallel port was the ESY15D1 D-Series Touchcomputer in 2014. Modern Elo computing platforms and touchmonitors utilize USB, Serial (RS-232), Ethernet, and modern display interfaces exclusively.

Workarounds & Third-Party Adapters

While native parallel ports are no longer available on current hardware, customers who need to connect legacy parallel receipt printers or dot-matrix equipment can utilize a commercial third-party USB-to-Parallel Adapter Cable (e.g., USB to Centronics 36 or DB25).
