This article describes how to reset the system Date and Time on an Elo AIO TouchComputer
This may need to be performed after replacing the CMOS battery or in the event the system date and time is wrong. This is applicable to Elo I-Series Windows, I-Series Linux, EloPOS, and E-Series 2, as well as others.
- Restart System and enter the BIOS. This is accomplished by tapping the DEL key on a connected keyboard, or by touching the SETUP icon in the upper right corner of the screen as it is booting.
- In the Main tab of the system BIOS, scroll down to the System Date and System Time section.
- Set the system date. Touching in the Date area will pop up a virtual number pad.
- Use Tab to switch between Date elements
- Default Ranges: Year 2005 - 2099, Months: 1-12. Days: Dependent on month.
- Set the system time. Touching in the Time area will pop up a virtual number pad
- Use Tab to switch between Time elements.
- After system Date and Time are entered, navigate to the Save & Exit tab and choose Save Changes & Exit
- The computer will reboot and the date and time should be correct.
