This article explains how to Create a Custom Barcode Configuration if there is no plugin for a SE2707

Below describes how to use 123Scan to create a programming barcode for the Elo/Zebra SE2707 2D Barcode Scanner (E393160 and E551946). This procedure enables you to create a printable custom barcode which will allow you to program your barcode scanners by simply scanning the custom configured barcode. This can also be used in the case where a plugin is not available in 123Scan.

Steps

1. Download and install the Zebra 123Scan configuration utility

2. Open Zebra 123Scan and choose Create new configuration file.



3. Choose My scanner is NOT connected



4. Type in SE2707 into the search box OR scroll down and choose SE2707 from the options.



5. Choose the default setting



6. Make any desired custom changes to the settings.

• In this example we have selected the options for Keyboard Emulation and a Carriage Return.

7. After making all desired changes, choose "Print Barcode"



8. You can change printable barcode size and select from other layout options before printing. Once all options have been selected you can choose Save as MS Word or Print
