This article lists the steps for installing an Elo privacy screen

Steps;

• NOTE: Privacy screens are only intended to be used in Landscape orientation.

1. Remove the protective liner from the back and front of the privacy filter.

2. Clean the touchscreen of any dust, smudges, or fingerprints. Ensure it is completely dry before bonding privacy filter to the screen.

3. Remove the adhesive liner from around the edge of the privacy filter and place the filter onto the front of the touchscreen so the bonding tape is against the screen. Ensure the filter is flat before pressing the bonding tape firmly against the screen.

4. 1902/1903 and 2202/2203 touch screen monitors only: Touch-Through mode must be enabled to use privacy filter.

• To enable touch-through mode on Elo 1902/1903 and 2202/2203 touch monitors:
  • Press the Menu button on the rear OSD controls
  • Navigate to Miscellaneous -Touch - Touch Through
  • Set to On
    • If the privacy filter is later removed, this feature should be set to "Off" for touchscreen to work correctly.
