Install and Configure the OPOS Driver
- Download the OPOS Driver Package v1.7.0.0 and extract the contents to a folder on your computer.
- Run Application setup107.exe.

Follow the installation wizard.
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Wait for the installation to complete.
- Click Finish.

Launch OPOSLDSetup.exe from the Windows Start Menu. Alternatively, browse to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\POS\OPOS Line Display

Configure the display using the following settings:
Setting Value Device Model LD220 Device Name LD230 Port Select the COM port assigned in Device Manager Baud Rate 9600
Click Setup. - When the message Setup OK appears, click OK.

Launch VfdOposTest.exe. Alternatively, browse to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\POS\OPOS Line Display
- Select LD230 from the Select Device Name list.
- Enter a message in the text box and click Display Text.
- Verify that the message appears on the VFD display.

⚠ Troubleshooting
- Verify that the correct COM port is selected in the OPOS LineDisplay Setup Utility.
- Confirm that the baud rate is set to 9600.
- If the VFD does not display text, verify the COM port assignment in Windows Device Manager.
- Restart the VFD application after making any configuration changes.
- If communication still fails, disconnect and reconnect the VFD and repeat the setup process.

If the VFD is not listed in the OPOS utilities, first verify the COM port assignment in Windows Device Manager. An incorrect COM port is the most common cause of communication failures after driver installation.
