This article provides the procedure to remove the stand cover on an X-Series

Please follow the procedure below to remove the X-series stand cover.

Steps
1. Place X-Series face down on a protective surface with stand facing upward. 



2. Use fingers to gently lift upward on corner of plastic stand cover to release the retaining clips (both left and right side). If unable to remove with fingers, use a flat blade screwdriver to gently pry outward in the location shown below until the stand cover releases. 



3. Support the stand cover with your hand and do not allow it to drop. Carefully slide the stand cover off making sure not to apply any downward pressure which might break off the plastic retaining tabs.



4. Reassemble in the reverse order of above, pay attention to the plastic retaining tabs and not allow them to get broken during re-assembly.
