This technical article describes how to access the M.2 SATA SSD on the Windows I-Series 2.0 device.
📝 Note: There is one SSD M.2 SATA slot on the Windows I-Series 2.0 device. Only one SSD can be installed. The maximum supported SSD
size is 256GB.
Supported SSD Size
- The standard product is equipped with a 128GB SSD drive.
- The maximum amount of memory supported is 256GB.
- To upgrade to 256GB you would need to remove the 128GB SSD drive and replace it with a 256GB SSD drive. (see below for how-to)

- M.2 SATA 128GB SSD – Elo P/N: E206352
- M.2 SATA 256GB SSD – Elo P/N: E206556
Steps for Replacing SSD
1. Place Windows I-Series 2.0 device face down on a protective surface and disconnect the power.
a. Using a #2 Philipps screwdriver, remove the screw that holds the small plastic cover on the bottom of the unit.
b. Pull up on the plastic cover and remove.
c. Using the #2 Philipps screwdriver, remove the screw that holds the SSD.
d. Remove SSD from slot and replace with compatible drive.
e. Replace screws and back cover.
