Required Tools and Equipment

Phillips-head screwdriver (#1 or #2)

Anti-static wrist strap (recommended)

Safety Precautions

Power off the device and disconnect it from all power sources before beginning.

Wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.

Handle internal components with care to avoid damage.
Procedure
1. Prepare the Device

Place the I-Series 3 face down on a clean, soft, and protective surface to prevent scratches or damage.

If the device has a stand, remove it by detaching the screws and lift from the unit.
2. Remove External Covers

Detach the four (4) side peripheral port covers by gently pulling them outward.

Remove the two (2) cable covers by carefully lifting them away from the device.
3. Remove the Back Cover Screws

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove all twelve (12) screws from the back cover.

Locate and remove the two (2) additional screws at the bottom of the unit.
4. Detach the Back Cover

Carefully lift the back cover starting from the bottom edge and gradually move upward.

When the cover reaches approximately a 45-degree angle, gently release the hook securing the front edge.

Continue lifting the cover until it is vertical.

Disconnect the cable connecting the back cover to the motherboard by carefully unplugging it.

Fully remove the back cover and set it aside.
Post-Procedure

The SSD and RAM are now accessible for replacement or upgrade.
