This article provides steps for testing the GPIO on Elo's I-Series 4.0 for Android devices.
- Using GPIO Cable Kit: P/N: E211544 or similar cable. Launch the ELO Peripheral Test app and insert the GPIO cable into the GPIO connection on back of I-Series 4.0 device.
| Step | Action | Expected Result |

| a | Short the white wire to the black wire | GPIO81 should go Low |
| b | Short the green wire to the black wire | GPIO82 should go Low |
| c | Measure the voltage on the red wire | Should read 5V |
| d | Set GPIO80 output to Low | Voltage should drop to 0V |
