This article describes how to install an ECMG4 computer module into an 03-Series IDS monitor

To install (3203L, 4303L, 5053L, 5503L, 5553L, 6553L) you must first remove the I/O cover and ECM cover from the back of the monitor.

1. To remove the I/O cover, push inward on the two retaining tabs on both sides of the I/O cover and lift off.
2. To remove the ECM cover, remove the Philipps screw from the cover and lift the cover off.
3. To install the ECMG4 computer module, slide into ECM slot and connect with the mating connector. Secure with the Phillips security screw.
