This article provides instructions on how to setup to PXE BOOT on an Elo ECMG4 computer module
Steps
1. Enter the ECMG4 BIOS by tapping the DEL key on a physically connected keyboard.
2. Navigate to the Boot section and Enable Launch PXE OpROM, then scroll down and select Network as your #1 Boot priority.
3. Navigate to the Exit menu and select Save Changes and Restart
4. The ECMG4 should now boot from your PXE server.
- Note: You can press F7 on a physically connected keyboard during startup to go into Boot options and select the desired PXE server.
Helpful advice:
- The above shows precisely how to enable the ECMG4 to PXE boot. If you are unable to PXE boot after following the above, you should look closer at your PXE server to ensure it setup properly. Consult with you software manufacturer for instructions.
- Be sure you are connecting the ECMG4 on the same network as your PXE server is connected.
- Do not try to PXE boot from just a standalone computer, you must boot through a properly configured server.
