This article provides instructions on how to install an operating system image on the Elo ECMG4 Computer Module

This process will take 20 - 30 minutes to complete.

Steps

1. Insert an Elo ECMG4 into the monitor

2. Insert USB flash drive with desired image into the ECMG4

• If you do not know how to create a bootable USB flash drive with an ISO image, please refer to our KB How to Install .iso Images Procedure

3. Connect a USB keyboard to the ECMG4

4. Turn ON the system and repeatedly press “F7” on the keyboard to enter the boot menu

5. Select the USB flash drive as seen in example below:



6. Once in the setup menu, click on “Install Recovery Solution”



7. Press the “Test Hardware” icon



8. Press the “Start” icon, you will see the following popup where the recovery will begin as soon as you press OK.



9. Once completed, press Exit → Exit to restart the system.

10. Remove the USB Flash drive and the USB keyboard.
