Replicated Touchscreens (Video Splitter) in the Windows NT v3.1c Driver
This article explains how to configure multiple touchmonitors driven by a video splitter (displaying the same video on each monitor) using the legacy Windows NT v3.1c touch driver from Elo — Now part of Zebra Technologies.

Registry Setup Instructions
- Perform the driver installation for the total number of touch monitors connected (up to four). When the Finish prompt appears, select No, I will Restart my computer later.
- Open the registry editor by running
REGEDT32. Navigate to the following registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Monmouse- Set the following keys to the stated values:
NumberOfScreens: [Enter the number of screens connected]NumXScreens:1NumYScreens:1
Next, navigate down to the specific touchscreen parameters path:
\TouchScreen 0\Parameters- Set the following keys to the stated values:
XlateXLow:0XlateXHigh:7fffXlateYLow:0XlateYHigh:7fff
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all other screens connected to the splitter (e.g.,
TouchScreen 1,TouchScreen 2, etc.). - Close the registry editor and restart the computer.
Calibration Instructions
Important Calibration Warning: You must run the calibration routine manually. Initiating calibration directly from the Control Panel will cause system errors to be generated.
- From Windows NT Explorer, navigate to the
\winnt\system32folder and double-clickelocal32.exe. - Calibrate each screen individually as the calibration targets are displayed on the monitors.
