This article describes how to update the Firmware on an Elo IDSx04/54 Series display via OTA in EloView.
Steps
Power on the IDS display.
Press the Menu button on the back of the unit to open the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu.
Navigate to the Configuration section.
Click FW Update (OTA) to start the update.
⚠️ Do not turn off the power or unplug the AC cord during the firmware update. Interrupting the process may render the IDS unit inoperable.
A message will appear:
“FW updating, please do not turn off system.”
This process can take approximately 8 minutes.
Once the firmware update completes, the IDS unit will automatically reboot.
