This article explains why the EloPOS may not be connecting to a network via Ethernet
EloPOS devices are capable of connecting to a network using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. If you are experiencing network failure when connected with an Ethernet cable, please ensure that the cable is connected to the correct port on the EloPOS device. EloPOS devices have 3 RJ-45 ports, two of which are used for serial RS232 connections and one is used for Ethernet network connections.
The port labeled 10 in the above drawing is the Ethernet network connection, this is located on the back of the display component. Ports labeled 12 are to be used with serial connections, these ports will be located on the I/O hub. Depending on the EloPOS configuration being used these can be found as part of the stand, attached to the back of the all-in-one unit, or connected via a USB-C cable remote from the display component. Ethernet connection must be made to port 10 for proper network connectivity.
