This article provides the Edge Connect RFID Reader (E673037) configuration guide

There is some configuration required to get the E673037, Omnikey 5127CK NFC reader “up and running.”  You will need access to a Windows PC and, potentially, a female micro-USB-A to USB-A cable and install a few drivers/apps (on the PC) before getting started.  Here are the high-level configuration steps for your review:

• Connect the RFID/NFC reader to a Windows PC

• Use the installed Workbench app to switch the device from the default Keyboard mode to CCID mode (required to use the configuration web app)

• Use the Configuration web app to establish all required settings, like card type (ex: ISO14443A), adding a carriage return, etc.  You will also put the device back into Keyboard mode.

• Apply changes when ready.  You can optionally export a configuration file for future use.
