This article provides compatibility guidelines and driver installation requirements for using Elo touchscreen monitors and interactive displays on macOS Version 13 (Ventura).

Driver Compatibility Overview

macOS 13 Ventura is supported via the UPDD V6 driver package. The UPDD V6 architecture provides comprehensive multi-touch and gesture support across Apple macOS versions from Mac OS X 10.7 and above.

Installation & Security Permissions

When setting up the touch driver on macOS Ventura, please follow the official setup guides carefully:

• Follow the UPDD Quick Installation Guide for step-by-step driver setup instructions.
• Pay close attention to the System Extension Considerations. Apple security requirements mandate that users manually approve/allow system extensions under System Settings > Privacy & Security during the installation process.
