This article explains how to access and change the CMOS battery on an EloPOS Pack system

1. Disconnect power from the EloPOS Pack.

2. Unlock the ECMG4 case by sliding the lock lever to the right



3. Place ECMG4 on a work surface with the bottom side pointed up. Slide off bottom cover.




4. Remove the 4 Philips screws from the metal plate and lift off



5. Remove the CMOS battery by gently pulling upward to release the sticky tape. Disconnect the connector from the motherboard and lift battery out.




6. Replace with a compatible CR2032 3V Lithium battery with leads and connector.

7. Reassemble in reverse steps from above.
