This article explains the screen timeout on mobile devices

On Elo's Mobile devices, the screen timeout is controlled through the Android Settings on the device. Screen timeout cannot be controlled through EloView on mobile devices. The default setting is 30 seconds.

Resolution: To lengthen the screen timeout, follow the steps below:

(Applies To: Elo Mobile Devices: M100, M50, M51, M60)

1. Go to Android Settings on the device. On mobile devices, this is typically done by pressing the power button and the left trigger button simultaneously to access the Control Panel.

2. Slide up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Panel.

3. Enter the Control Panel password (if enabled).

4. Click on the three hash bars in the upper right to access the Admin Control Panel.

5. Click on the Admin icon in the lower left.

6. Enter the Admin Password (if enabled).

7. Click on the Settings (gear) icon.

8. Click on Android Settings.

9. Scroll down and go into Display Settings.

10. Go to Screen Timeout.

11. Change the Screen Timeout to the desired time. Available options are:

• Never

• 15 seconds

• 30 seconds

• 1 minute

• 2 minutes

• 5 minutes

• 10 minutes

• 30 minutes

12. Exit the Control Panel.

Following these steps will allow you to customize the screen timeout duration according to your preference.
