- Minimum efficiency of 88% measured at both 115 Vac and 230 Vac input voltage, across load conditions of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, including DC cable loss.
Standby Power
- Maximum standby power of less than 0.21 W at both 115 Vac and 230 Vac input.
Output Characteristics
Rated Output Voltage
- The rated output voltage is specified at 24.0 VDC.
Voltage Output Range
- The output voltage will range from 22.8 VDC to 25.2 VDC when the load is applied.
Rated Power
- This adapter supports a continuous output of 120 Watts under all specified conditions.
Rated Current
- This adapter can operate from 0 A to 5 A, with the output voltage within the specified range in section Voltage Output Range.
Output Ripple and Noise (Input AC Voltage: 100 V –240 V)
- Output ripple voltage is limited to 240 mV peak-to-peak or less.
- Output noise voltage is also limited to 240 mV peak-to-peak or less.
Measured Methods:
- T1: Performed using a 20 MHz bandwidth oscilloscope.
- T2: Applied a 0.1 µF ceramic capacitor and a 10 µF electrolytic capacitor across output connector terminals.
- T3: Measurements taken at the end of the DC cable.
Stability
The adapter operates unconditionally stable within its normal operating specifications.
Protection
Short Circuit Protection
- The adapter protects against short circuits between output terminals without resulting in fire hazards or damage, resuming normal operation once the short is removed.
Over Current Protection
- When over-current occurs (120% < OCP <180%), input power reduces or ceases output without causing damage, with automatic recovery upon removal of over-current condition.
Peak Load
- While operating with an input of 100–220 Vac, the output voltage remains within 18–26 V, with specific peak loads defined as follows:
- 8 A peak for a duration of 2 ms (duty cycle approximately 14, assuming 2 A RMS), rise/fall rate: 2 .5 A/µs.
- 20 A peak for a duration of 100 µs (duty cycle approximately 40, assuming 2 A RMS), rise/fall rate: 2 .5 A/µs.
