This article provides the steps to setting a Static IP in Windows
- Click Start Menu Control Panel Network and Sharing Center or Network and Internet Network and Sharing Center
- Click Change adapter settings.
- Right-click on Wi-Fi or Local Area Connection.
- Click Properties
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
- Click Properties.
- Select Use the following IP address.
- Enter the IP address, Subnet mask, Default gateway, and DNS server.
- Click OK
Your computer displays a static IP address.
