This article explains which driver should be downloaded and used

The most recent multi-touch driver works will all of our current touch technologies.

If your unit uses PCAP or Infrared technology, then you may not need Elo Touch Drivers. The touch drivers will not be necessary, if using Windows 7 and above, excluding some versions of Windows 7 Embedded. Windows has built-in HID drivers for PCAP and Infrared technology.

For other operating systems, it is best to use the latest driver available if no native touch support is evident.
