This article explains how to deactivate on-board calibration with Elo Touch driver 6.9.23 Windows
After executing below, calibration parameters will be saved in the Windows PC registry instead of NVRAM.
(Resistive, Intellitouch, Secure Touch, IT+ 2521, Xray)
1. Remove the Elo driver that is already installed on the windows PC
c: program files\Elo Touch Solutions\elox.exe /u
2. Download the Windows Elo touch driver, at the time of this KB it is 6.9.24
Don't install the driver but unzip it into a folder
3. In this folder look for EloOptions.ini and change Drivercalibration=1 and save the changes
4. In this same folder look for EloSetup.exe and run as admin
5. Run the EloConfig.exe calibration and calibration parameters will now be saved in Windows registry
