C-Series Revision B systems originally shipped with Windows 7 recovery ISO images stored locally on the desktop in a folder named Recovery DVD ISO Files. If those files have been deleted or the hard drive has been replaced, you can download the recovery images provided below.

Before You Begin
- An external USB DVD drive is required to perform the recovery.
- Each ISO image must be burned to its own DVD.
- Recovery requires both Disc 1 and Disc 2.
- Backing up important data is recommended before restoring the operating system.

Using the Recovery Images
- If the original recovery files still exist, look for the folder named Recovery DVD ISO Files on the Windows desktop.
- If the recovery files are no longer available, download both recovery ISO images from the links above.
- Burn each ISO image to its own DVD using DVD authoring software.
- Connect an external USB DVD drive to the C-Series Revision B Touchcomputer.
- Insert Recovery Disc 1 and boot the system from the DVD drive.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, insert Recovery Disc 2 to complete the recovery process.

If the installation stops at a
C:\Windows\System32\command prompt, type:Win7
and press Enter to continue the installation.
- If the system will not boot from the external DVD drive:
- Enter the BIOS by pressing the Delete (DEL) key during startup.
- Verify that Fast Boot or Quick Boot is disabled.
- Set the USB DVD drive as the first boot device.
- If the BIOS includes a BBS Boot Priorities menu, make the USB DVD drive the first device there as well.
💡 Tip
If your C-Series system still contains the original Recovery DVD ISO Files folder, create backup copies of both recovery images before replacing the hard drive or reinstalling Windows. Keeping backup media readily available can significantly simplify future system recovery.
