This article explains how to replace the CMOS battery in an Elo ECMG2B/C or ECMG3 computer module

This procedure details replacing the CMOS battery in the Elo ECMG2B/C, ECMG3 computer module.
The following hardware is needed
- Elo ECMG2B/C or ECMG3 Computer Module
- #2 Phillips Screwdriver
- Flat blade Screwdriver
- Replacement CMOS battery: 3V CR2032 Lithium battery.

1. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove 7 screws from the module (6 on sides 1 on top).
2. Using the flat blade screwdriver, remove the slotted silver slide screw from the side of the module.
3. Lift the top cover off of the computer module to gain access to the CMOS battery.
4. Using flat blade screwdriver, push spring clip to release battery.
5. Battery will spring upward for removal.
6. Place new CMOS battery into battery slot. Using finger, press downward on battery until it snaps into place.
7. Replace top cover and screws that were removed in steps 1 and 2.
