This article explains how to calibrate HID Monitors without the Elo Driver installed
Please see the below process to calibrate a HID monitor without an Elo touch driver installed. This may also be helpful if connecting an Elo touchmonitor as a secondary display to an All-In-One pc which has a built in touchscreen.
Notes
- Windows Operating System with Tablet PC Support, ie: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 (NOTE: This will not work on Embedded OS Systems that do not have Tablet PC Support)
- If an Elo touch driver is installed, you must uninstall it before following this procedure.
Process
1. With Elo touch monitor(s) connected to Windows PC
a. Open Windows Control Panel and change the View by category to Small
b. Open Tablet PC settings
c. Click on Setup
d. Touch the Elo touchscreen. If the below dialog comes up on a Non-Touch monitor, simply press Enter on a connected keyboard until it moves to the desired touchscreen.
