This article provides the process to remove/replace the RAM in a Windows I-Series 1.0
Please see below and attached for information on how to remove/install memory (RAM) in the Windows I-Series 1.0 devices.

Hardware:
• Flat protective surface
• Elo i-Series (1.0) with Windows AIO Touchcomputer
• Small Phillips Screwdriver
• Replacement or Additional RAM
• Elo i-Series (1.0) with Windows AIO Touchcomputer
• Small Phillips Screwdriver
• Replacement or Additional RAM
i Series (1.0) with Windows RAM Specifications:
• ESYxxi2: 2GB DDR3L SODIMM on 1 of 2 slot (Expandable to 8GB) NOTE: Maximum memory using 2 available slots; Replaceable up to 8GB maximum, SODIMM DDR3L-1600
• ESYxxi5: 4GB DDR4 SODIMM on 1 of 2 slot (Expandable to 16GB) NOTE: Maximum memory using 2 available slots; Replaceable up to 16GB maximum, SODIMM DDR4-2133
• ESYxxi5: 4GB DDR4 SODIMM on 1 of 2 slot (Expandable to 16GB) NOTE: Maximum memory using 2 available slots; Replaceable up to 16GB maximum, SODIMM DDR4-2133
1. Place i-Series face down on a flat protective surface
2. Using fingers pull up on the two tabs on the bottom of the back cover and push up and forward to remove the cover
3. Remove two Phillips screws from metal plate and remove plate
4. Add or replace RAM
5. Reassemble i-series by following above procedure in reverse.
