How do I discern what the numbers and letters mean in the Elo serial number?

Example Serial Number: G15H123456

• The first character, G represents the month: July
• The next two numbers 15 represents the year: 2015
• The next letter or number after the year, H, represents the factory it was built in.
• The rest of the numbers represent production numbers off the line.
