This article explains how to can disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL requirement when logging in by following the below instructions:

In the Windows Control Panel, open Administrative tools, then open Local Security Policy.

Open Local Policies, then open Security Options
Scroll down to find Interactive logon: Do not require CTRL+ALT_DEL

 Open that and change it to Enabled.

 If the options are grayed out, you do not have sufficient permissions to disable CTRL-ALT-DEL.
